Danielle Désiré (she/her), L.Ac., LMT, is a first-generation Haitian-American licensed acupuncturist and massage therapist with over 20 years of experience in the healing arts. Her practice is rooted in Classical Chinese Medicine — a lineage-based system that treats the whole person, not just the symptom.

Danielle’s path to acupuncture began not in a classroom, but on a treatment table. After nearly a decade of battling insomnia and exhausting every option Western medicine had to offer, she received her first acupuncture treatment in 2009. The effect was profound. She knew immediately that this medicine would define her life’s work.

She began her healing journey in 2003 as a licensed massage therapist, laying the foundation for a deeply somatic understanding of the body. In 2013, she graduated from Midwest College of Oriental Medicine and became a licensed acupuncturist — bringing together everything she had learned into a truly integrated practice.

While Danielle welcomes patients across a wide range of needs, her deepest passion lies in supporting those navigating PTSD and trauma — particularly multigenerational trauma rooted in colonization and oppression. This is pain that lives in the nervous system long before it finds words, and Classical Chinese Medicine offers one of the most profound frameworks available for addressing it. Danielle brings both clinical precision and lived cultural understanding to this work.

A lifelong learner, Danielle continues to deepen her expertise through ongoing education in fertility and orthopedics. Her multi-discipline training and decades of experience allow her to craft genuinely individualized care — because she knows firsthand that there is no single path to wellness.
